I had the pleasure of attending two back to back book signings which were both amazing. I swear, I just love meeting readers and talking to other authors, to learn and grow from their experience. The first one I was a PA for my mom, Author TM Witko, but the coordinator allowed me to also sell my books as well and the second one my mom had tables next to each other.

Books by the Arch
I want to thank Michelle Edrington-Areaux for allowing me to sign my book, Refining Balance, at my mom’s table at Books by the Arch in St. Louis, MO. We had a good crowd going through and we were able to talk to so many readers which I always love. Plus, I got to finally see the big arch which was very cool. And… I got to hit up Waffle House afterwards. The cool thing though is that the house we based our character Thaddeus House on in the Eternally Destined Trilogy is along the route home. We have been trying to get a good picture of it for ages, but this trip we were able to.
Booktoberfest for Grown-Ups
The next signing I went to was Booktoberfest for Grown-Ups at the MN State Fairgrounds. I had so much fun. I decided to dress up (it was close to Halloween!) so I went as a woodland faerie which allowed me to wear my awesome cape. There were so many authors and crafters there, I think I spent more than I made (oops!). Seriously though, I really had a lot of fun and can’t wait to sign up next year.
Oh, and on a non-signing note, I was recently hired as the Head Basketball Cheer Coach at my alma mater, McLaughlin High School. I was a cheerleader from 8th grade through high school. I’m very excited to give back in this way. I’ll let ya know how it goes.
